It’s the final day of Traffex and the votes are in! We are very pleased to announce that the name of Blakedale’s new low-bodied 3.5 tonne Traffic Management Vehicle is… the Cone Ranger.
It's finally Traffex week! The latest two additions to the Blakedale fleet are ready and waiting to wow visitors to this week’s event at The NEC, Birmingham, including our brand new low-bodied Traffic Management Vehicle that you have been helping us to name.
Once again Blakedale will be exhibiting at the biggest event in the traffic management calendar – Traffex at the NEC Birmingham on 4-6th April.
Here at Blakedale we are on a quest to find the perfect name for our new low-bodied 3.5 tonne traffic management vehicle prior to its official unveiling at Traffex in April, and we’d love your help!
We will be showcasing our latest 18t Impact Protection Vehicle (IPV) at the Highways SIB (Seeing is Believing) event in Leicestershire today and tomorrow. Visitors to Blakedale stand 56 will be invited to head over to the demonstration zone for an exclusive tour of the new high roof Iveco model which not only offers a roomier interior - with cross cab access and additional space for three occupants - but has been specifically upgraded to offer improved safety for road workers at day or night and in all weather conditions.
Our PR campaign has seen Blakedale making more headlines this month. Check out our latest article in the November 2016 issue of Highways Magazine in which our joint Managing Director, Carmen Bowley discusses the issues of road worker safety and road worker abuse.
