Crash Cushions
Safety of the workforce and public is paramount in today’s traffic management environment. Our crash cushion vehicles offer full protection and are fully approved to NCHRP350 level 3 and the new 3-51 UK test at 110kph (70mph).
The vehicles come complete with sign racks, cone wells and under body storage.
In addition all vehicles are fitted with reverse alarms, CCTV, work lights, warning alarms and high specification lighting as standard.
All are fitted with a vertical lift light arrow board, allowing much needed additional storage space at the rear of the vehicle.
The majority of our crash cushions are fitted to 18t vehicles with traffic management bodies. However Blakedale is also able to offer dedicated short wheel base impact protection vehicles.
These are designed as an impact protection vehicle, yet still have a small payload area enabling the operator to carry any necessary equipment.
